    Re: Shooting Across from Disneyland

    Yikes!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Oh dear... I sure hope no one was hurt. We had a similar guy go verseck close to WDW a couple of days ago on US192 and Rte 535. Just couple of miles from WDW entrances. Shot one person...and he ended up killing himself. Coward!

The article says that the victim was hospitalized in serious condition. It also stated that the police don't think that the shooting actually occured in that area, meaning it happened elsewhere, and the victim drove to the Convention Center area. Isn't this the same area where that fatal auto accident happened a while back? I think a car had hit some pedestrians or something.

Exactly why you shouldn't leave Disney property when visiting a Disney Resort!

Well, shootings in Anaheim across the street from DLr are not daily occurrence, so you should take into account the frequency (extremely low) and your expected exposure to the risk (next to nothing, or maybe five minutes to and from motel).

Or, you can get paranoid. Take your pick.

There aren't a lot of people in MT, so there isn't a lot of conflict between them. Compared with, say, SoCal, where there are lots of people and thus lots of conflicts. I wish we were one big happy family, but we're not.
