  • [Question] Upgrading Single Day Ticket to Annual Pass within 30 days

Hey everybody, i've been hearing some things about this. I heard that if you were to go to Disneyland and purchase just a single day ticket, you could come back within the next month with your ticket and upgrade to an Annual Pass. Now i've been hearing on some sides they you can do this, and i've been hearing on some other sides that they stopped allowing this a while ago. What is the truth? Thanks.

A ticket can only be upgraded before that last day is used up, and before the ticket booths closed. As a one day ticket that means on the day it's used.

You can request a an exemption form from a ticket booth. The exemption will allow you to return back within 30 days to upgrade to an AP that will be back-dated to the day you used the ticket. It's at the supervisor's discretion whether or not to give it to you, though, and it must be requested the day that the ticket is being used.
