This weeks news about Tony Baxter has me in a bit of a funk concerning my love of theme parks as a whole, so lets cheer me up! Any body have some good news out there for a life long theme park fan?

I admire your creation of this thread. That isn't sarcasm either.

              We can use some positivity.

That Fantasy Fair is no Carnation Gardens, but I admit it, it looks kind of nice.

Two more years until Disneyland's 60th anniversary. Stay healthy and start making plans for being there July 17, 2015.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

Re: Lets hear some good news for a change...

Well here's some magically produced news... Tony Baxter's mark is left behind forever in
Disneyland and Walt Disney World that you can visit, touch and experience forever... or until it gets updated and changed and altered... BUT there's so much of him everywhere that you really don't have to worry about his legacy disppearing anytime soon.

Disneyland's general food quality continues to improve in many locations (apart from you, Pizza Port - step it up).

Disneyland will never be completed, it will continue to grow

Let me be clear,my goal was not to "magically create" good news, but to slightly stear our conversations into a more positive direction.
Instead of focusing on Mr. Baxter's long and distinguished career many immediately looked for someone to blame for his departure and made dire predictions on Disneyland's future. News always looks at current events through a prism of negativity. It always has, it always will.
Well now, you have me ranting and I forgot my point...

Some good news Epcot is paying respect to the original World of Motion attraction by continuing using the symbol. Its not much but original epcot was awsome! Also the turn styles for Next Gen are going in at WDW. (I think that is the only good part of the project). Fantasy Faire @DL will open March and every day without light magic is a good one.
