  • [Question] Casa de Fritos "Fritos Kid" Vending Machine - Who Made This?

I bought a bag of Fritos from this machine back in 1966 during a trip to Disneyland with my parents. It was fascinating and very complex for its time. Was it a creation of Disney Imagineering? If not, who did? Was it ever duplicated and placed elsewhere (besides Disneyland) or was it totally unique?

I would say that it probably was something unique to the park at the time. It could have very well been thought of by the Imagineers as well..

I enjoy vintage Disney food posts. This was over by the Shooting Gallery right? I would think that since the WED was in charge of most sponsor attractions and displays they probably made it.

My dad had told me about this and Casa de Fritos. I heard the Chili Cone Queso with Fritos (Carsland) is similar to the Ta-Cup from Casa de Fritos back in the day. Anyone know is that's true?
