Does anyone have pictures of the Mouse-O-Rail.It was an old monorail car. It First appeared in the 1976 Rose parade(making it the mark II red lead car and not the mark III red) and then later in the Rocket Rods Queue. Does anyone know where it is now and if it did other things besides the rose parades and rocket rods.

I think it appeared first in a ceremony at the 1990 Tournament of Roses beginning the 35 Years of Magic celebration during which the Mouse-o-Rail toured the country for promotional purposes.

After Buzz Lightyear replaced Rocket Rods, though, I have no idea what happened to the former Monorail Red. I would love to know, however. Monorail Red should be preserved at the Disneyland Hotel in some way.

The mark III frame was used on the mark V making it somewhat impossible for that unless they made 1 new frame for the mark V or somehow managed to make the shels support itself without the frame which is like having a human stand up without a skeleton.

They just mounted the Mark III shells on a bus.

It wasn't all that complicated to put together.

Ok that would make sense but what about it appearing in the 1976 Rose parade. The Mark III's were still running around disneyland. Or did they scrap the first one and make the second one later. Does anyone have pictures. It could clear a ot up.

            Here is the Mouse-O-Rail

If the image does not work, here is the link:
            http://www.komansense.com/aboutvk/images/mousral2.jpg

Also, on that site it says its last day was April 18, 1988, therefore making it impossible for it to appear in the 1976 Parade.

            The link is:

            Hope this Helps

If they still have it, they should offer it as transportation from Paradise Pier Hotel to Downtown Disney.

Then they could say all the parks have monorail access to the parks.
