  • [Fun] OZ the Great and Powerful: firework encore

Just after the finale of the fireworks a crack of thunder is heard over the speakers changing the castle from its normal color scheme to a dull black and white. A powerful tornado rips through the castle transporting it and guess to the land of OZ. Flame throwers and projections give guest a show they'll never forget.

So I was really inspired by the encores after world of color and was wondering how to bring that to Disneyland. Heres a rough concept I thought would be neat to see at the park

There is not enough space on the castel for people to see that. You would have to put it on the sides of castel and then you would not see it on Main Street

Tacking animated adds onto WoC is one thing, but on the Castle. I pray not.

Nice to see someone do a mock up of an idea!

The same could be said for all the Remember hub stuff for the Rivers of America guests. Unless they also projected it on the water screens/shack and Small World.

But I like the idea, and it's 100% possible to limit the audio to the hub's speakers. Flying monkey anyone?

We shouldn't forget that Walt used his park to promote his films and it drove the other Hollywood studio execs nuts lol.

Speaking of World of Color, Oz would be the perfect thing to replace Pirates. I can easily see April Showers leading into Oz's arrival and an attack by the Wicked Witch serving as a villains lead-in.
