  • [Question] Disney Dream Weddings - Can they do a Haunted Mansion Dream Wedding?

I was wondering if ANYONE besides me would love to have a Haunted Mansion dream wedding... Rather it be at Dineyland or Disney World.

How do you think a Haunted Mansion Real wedding would go?

And if you can't have the wedding in the park itself then lol

I know I'd have a costume wedding where the maids or Horror... ta... I mean Honor and myself would be in costume and everything would be frighting. There would be NO Halloween decorations in sight like Jack'o Lanterns and anything that says Halloween.... I think that would be Cheesy... and what if I wanted to have my wedding in the summer and not During Halloween?

Any ways... Main Question... could that be done as a Disney Wedding for the people who isn't into the pretty pretty princess stuff?

The Disney wedding staff are pretty amazing and Disney will try to make any dream come true but with a nice price tag. Any in park weddings are mostly done after park hours for more then $50,000. There have been some pretty neat Haunted Mansion themed weddings though, check out Pinterest or the Disney wedding blog

Interesting... If I was a multi-Millionaire I would gladly fork over at least a thousand...

But, then again if I was a multi Millionaire I would buy the Haunted Mansion Replica in Georgia then move in lol.

DL has a wedding place near the DL hotel. Just weddings, nothing else.

My oldest son (28 now) married his wife there on 7/12/08. It's secluded; you'd never know that you're in the middle of a busy amusement park.

After the ceremony, they have a glass carriage that takes you around the block. Pulled by a real horse.

        Pretty spendy though......

To put it simply, you can rent Disney piece by piece for a price for special events. They will open stores, attractions, lands all for a price. Town Square, Tomorroland, Gibson Girls, or Dumbo all have a rental fee. I don't know that they will close a park all day for any amount of money, but perhaps the price is there, but nobody has met it.

I have no doubt you could rent the Mansion for an event, they have done dinners there in a few ways before.

I did talk once to an event coordinator about events in general and she did say that in park weddings by the castle during normal business hours START at $25k!...and that was for nothing fancy other than a small area roped off for a small wedding party.

I'd love to do this. When I worked there I saw Castle wedding and a huge Wedding at Small World .
If the price is right, I am sure it can be done.
Little and broken, but still good.

                To add another data point:
The afterhours special event this Thursday featuring dinner in the Haunted Mansion portrait corridor is $1913/couple.

I inquired about the morning castle wedding which is a 30min ceremony starting at 7:30am and your out of the park by 8am that is $25,000. As for a complete ceremony and reception they offer after the park closes which includes the castle ceremony, a cocktail hour in front of Peter Pans flight and the reception to follow in from of it's a small world until about 2 or 3am that all comes with the price tag of $75,000. I can see why there's that added expense considering the cast members that all work late and clean up. Plus any planned maintenance it pushed aside.

I defiantly know at WDW they do special event dinners at Tower of Terror. A dream wedding I must say. There have been a couple of receptions to be in the animation building at CA which is stunning. Even with the huge price tag I know Disney does things to the max and really make the event magical.

                  (prices may be different now)

DLs 'wedding specialist' or whomever plans these was REALLY helpful.

Reminds me of when Kobe Bryant rented several attractions on the west-side of the park back in 2000... just to take his then fiancee on a date!!!

If you visit the Disney Wedding website they actually list all of the locations where you can have a wedding. The Mansion is not included there. You'd be able to rent the attraction after-hours for a high price but Disney might not be comfortable letting someone host an actual wedding in the Mansion, probably due to food and drink possibly getting splattered. They already have hard enough of a time keeping guests from spreading ashes in there. If you are serious about this, I'd suggest visiting their website and calling them.

Even if you can't have a wedding inside the Haunted Mansion (and, realistically, the ride isn't going to offer you much space for one), you can still theme it that way.

I'm sure if you give Disney your first born they will do just about anything you want.

I would love a Haunted Mansion wedding, though. Right up my alley.

I would seem cheaper to have the wedding and reception at the Disneyland Hotel and then trek down to the Haunted Mansion for a ride thru.

Whether you want a summer or fall wedding is only a few months difference. It is harder to get into the Haunted Mansion spirit in the summer, but I do see many people dressed in goth in the parks. Are they your friends?

Why not do an after wedding reception event at the Disneyland Halloweentime event? It is much cheaper to buy 20 tickets for the wedding party, friends, and family to attend as a group.
