  • [Other] My Starbucks Rewards at DCA Starbucks

I've noticed that non-Starbucks items like Disney's pastries count towards getting stars in the My Starbucks Rewards program at Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe. Pretty cool, but I wonder if this is an oversight or intentional?

I hadn't tried myself but I've heard a CM tell the people in front of me they won't earn stars there.

Next year I'm trying for a summer internship at Stark Industries.

You can earn stars at this location, but you cannot redeem any free rewards.

The stars you earn are tied to your gift card and the transactions you make, not by any specific program each Starbucks has in place. As far as I know, you will ALWAYS earn stars for purchases made with your Starbucks gift card, regardless of location. However, your ability to redeem said rewards can vary depending on how each location is set up.

...and just a little bit of pixie dust!

This makes a lot of sense.
