Several times for business clients who were very impressed. It was a tax deduction for us.

LOL I almost spit my Diet Coke on my monitor

I do love the show but that kind of $ is ridiculous (supply and demand, as long as people will pay for it, I guess....not me). I told my 3 girls for that kind of money I would take them shopping to the Emporium instead and they would have something tangible not just a tummy ache in the morning

When did the price hit 60? I admit its been awhile for me but I don't ever remeber paying more then 40, and I did it three times in the early '00's

The tickets for Balcony seating is $59 .... it always matches park admission.

And yeah... I love it a lot.... I've actually done it like 25 times.

                    Yeah, right. :P

melmel, you work up there sometimes right?

I have only been there once. I remember paying $40 to get to do it. $40 was not the park admission; I think it was $49 back then. (And I thought $40 was a lot.... $60 is absurd. But I guess its supply and demand.)

I did it once for my birthday about two years ago when it was $40. I had extra money from work, so I paid for my whole family even though it was my birthday. For me it was worth the $40 a person to get the best seats (we were front row and everything), dessert and all without waiting 3 hours before the show.

When I did it a couple years ago, I think I paid $49, and I wouldn't be surprised if the price went up. I thought it was great. Sure, it might be expensive, but it's a real treat for a special occassion, or when trying to impress someone special (it worked!). It's one of those experiences that makes you feel like a real VIP, and worth it at least once, especially if you like Fantastmic. Because the balcony is so small, there are not that many seats available per show (I think when I went the max was less than 10). This makes it feel really exclusive. And the prices are certainly justified because it's sells out just about every performance. It's way better than the viewing area on the ground they have, and I think it's the same price (at least it used to be; shows how much demand there is). So be forewarned, don't ever expect to grab a couple seats on the same day as your visit. Reservations are taken 60 days in advance by calling DLR (714.781.3463), and on big weekends like holidays it sells out within minutes on the first day!

I've never sat in the balcony for Fantasmic yet, but would love to someday for a special occasion with my hubby. I think it is really pretty up there and I'm sure the view during the show is great!

When we did it I felt the $ was totally worth it. I didn't care about the desserts. What made it worth it for me was ot having to fight the crowds below.
