Flynn's Arcade would be so awesome. But, I knew the Starcade was returning from a CM about a month ago.

Sadly, Wreck-It Ralph meet n greet not reopen.

or should open a new Meet n Greet on the second floor of Starcade.

The Bright side is that Fix-It Felix, Jr. arcade games stay.

Even with Military discount, the AP this year was $648. Oooo a $1 savings.

                        Re: Classic Tomorrowland Attraction Returns

I may be in the minority here. But I'm glad it's back for purely selfish and nostalgic reasons. My older brother and I grew up in arcades in the 80's, and have spent many quarters in the Starcade with him back in the day. He now lives on the other side of the country and I have not seen him in 7 years. Is it wrong for me to be happy about Disneyland bringing back the Starcade only because it reminds me of more simple and happier times of my youth? Should everything be demolished in favor of replacing it with an attraction that only appeals to the current generation? I can still remember the many epic air hockey battles we used to have on the top floor, and the friendly waves and funny faces we would make at the people mover as it rolled on by. Or the familiar digital sounds of your favorite arcade game beckoning you to come on in for just a moment and take a break from the mad dash to stand in another long queue. I say welcome back Starcade, at least you are still appreciated by me! P.S. Holy cow! They actually made a Fix it Felix Jr. game! Awesome!

                          Re: Classic Tomorrowland Attraction Returns

Just my wishful thinking .... I'd like to think this as a pre-cursor to bigger things coming.

In early 1997 .... just before Circle-Vision closed to make way for Rocket Rods ... they re-ran the 1967 production of "America The Beautiful" for nostalgic guests. Ran for a month .. maybe a bit longer. Hard to remember. It was one last visit to Circle-Vision before it became toast.

Putting in the arcade games used in Flynn's Arcade in DCA's Electronica is nice for those of us into those 80s arcade games. But this round of nostalgia feels like - Just one more go-around for the Starcade that once had those very games from the start ....... before....................... (???)

                          again ....... my wishful thinking.
                          MY SIGNATURE:
Dear Peoplemover Fans, If you want to see a new attraction that at least mimics the 1967 Peoplemover in a future Tomorrowland remodel, you need to write to the powers-that-be, and let them know. If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

You want something themed to an arcade from the early 80's (30 years ago) in Tomorrowland?

Neither of those have any place in Tomorrowland either.
