  • Trip Report Big Thunder.

Just FYI in case someone doesn't know yet:
My girlfriend and I were at the resort on Mon. the 18th and Tues. the 19th. From the hub we could see a large stationary crane in the Frontierland area. When we got there, we saw that it was over Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and it was closed. The signs said they were doing track replacement and it would reopen in late Summer/early Fall. (I forget the stated month) The Big Thunder Trail is also closed from just past the northern-most dock structure along the ROA all the way to Fantasyland. This also means that Big Thunder Ranch is closed. (And the smoking area) Haha. I just thought I'd put that out there.

Haha, it's been known for a while now, but thank you for still making the effort! It's important to keep the MiceChat community informed about our favorite park so it's much appreciated. Also, welcome to MiceChat!

Thanks, guys, for giving me the exact dates, I couldn't remember the exact re-open date that they had posted and before my last visit last week, I hadn't been there since Dec. 18th so I didn't know when it was closed and hadn't heard about it anywhere. I figured many if not most members would already know, that's why I headlined my post the way I did. Over all, it was kind of a "just in case" thing. Thanks.
