  • [Question] Fantasy Faire area music question

I went to the park yesterday and spent sometime in Fantasy Faire walking around and one of the instrumental loops is driving me absolutely nuts. I went back at night and listened for it again... but could not identify it. Most of the music is derived from songs from classic Disney movies (preferably, of course, ones that have princesses in them) and redone as a Renaissance-era band would perform them, and one plays after what I think is "Gaston" and I simply can not think of what film it comes from.

Does anybody have a list of the songs featured in this loop or might even know what I'm talking about?

I don't know if it helps, but some music from The Princess Diaries is in the background loop.

Thanks, but I'm about 99% sure it's a song and not a pop song either.

Could it be "Happy Working Song" from Enchanted?

No I recognized that one, but it is one of the songs that are near it in the loop. "Once Upon a Dream" actually, iirc was the one prior.

edit: haha okay it literally hit me. It was "A Guy Like You" from Hunchback, which I haven't seen in ages. (the princess thing threw me off but of course CLOPIN!) The version they play is actually better just as a instrumental, and sounds a bit different without the voice actors hamming it up.

            Thanks everyone!

The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

I believe, correct me if Im wrong, that they had a Hunchback of Notre Dame instrumental (Topsy Turvey?)

Disney hasn't released a Disneyland Resort soundtrack album since 2007. It's long overdue for a new one.

it's funny because didn't they release a Carsland soundtrack or maybe not. I thought someone here posted that a soundtrack was out for Carsland. If that's true then why not a new Disneyland CD.

It actually wasn't any of the pop music from the movie. It's in this clip, it starts at about :27 into the clip.

Yeah, they released The Music of Cars Land and "The Circle Sessions" Carthay Circle Restaurant soundtrack last year. However, as far as a soundtrack CD for the whole resort goes the last one was 2008.
