From the 1957 Telerama fundraiser for the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, California. This show was broadcast live in Southern California with portions coming from the Disneyland Hotel. Air dates were June 22 & 23, 1957. This reminds me of the Disneyland opening day footage....both in Kinescope and both had the numerous errors with the hosts speaking when they thought they were off camera, etc. Still a lot of fun though.

I have many aerials from 1954 to present times and it always seems sad to me as I watch one orange grove after another disappear as the years roll by. I have some very early footage of the Hotel and it actually shows ladders and trucks still working the orange trees on the unused Hotel property.

Thank you! This is wonderful! You know, I have the strangest feeling that I've seen that ship before. A long time ago, when I was very young. ―George Darling
It seems to me that we have a lot of story yet to tell. ― Walt Disney

I do miss the fragrance of orange trees here in the county. Occasionally you'll catch the aroma here and there, but not as frequently as you used to. I, too, have seen pictures of Anaheim at the time the park was being built. It looked really pretty. It is a shame that Walt couldn't buy up more property to buffer the park a little more though.

That is fantastic, thanks for sharing. This is some of the best content on MicechatThe new Star Wars plot summery:
Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father
Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father
Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).
