  • [Question] Would you like to see Luigi's flying tires replaced?

Would anybody else like to see Luigi's flying tire be replaced with something else? I did like the ride at one point but when they took the balls away, I stopped going on the ride.

No. I miss the beach balls but I still have fun on it. Frankly, I don't understand how people don't like it. Is it that they can't get the tire to move?

that ride is pointless. i could enjoy pelting balls at some unsuspecting soul, but with no balls, it's just not worth the wait.

Even though the ride has no balls, it is still fun.

This thread title is misleading, I thought the Tires were going the way of the Rocket Rods.

It deflated my expectations, to be sure.

I thought it was fun. It was better than the bumper cars in It's a Bug's Life. Also, it's fun to build up a head of steam and "WHAM"! into another car that doesn't see you coming.

My daughter and I love this
                fun,
                interesting,
well-themed (including the music and waiting area)
                and, above all, unique ride!

And as long as I ride it, there will still be big balls on Luigi's Tires
, uh, because I will never, um, forget how much fun it was throwing and dodging them!

I like the Flying Tires! It's fun to zoom around once you get the hang of it - and I'm more likely to ride now that I know I won't be beaned in the face by one of those beachballs.

I don't think Luigi's Flying Tires is going anywhere for a very long time. First of all, it's new, and Disney spent a lot of money for the whole Carsland themed area. Secondly, there is always a line to ride it, even though people think it's lame. I guess it depends on your style of ride. My boyfriend and I rode it a couple weeks back and loved it. We were cracking up laughing the entire ride as we leaned left, right, forward, and back, bumped into people, and just had a great time. It was so lame it was fun if that makes sense. We enjoyed it, and it was good to see other people cracking up just like we were and not taking things too seriously. We wouldn't wait longer than 20 minutes to ride it, but if it's at the 20 minute mark or under, we definitely jump aboard for a ride.

i went on the first day it opened...only had to wait 5 minutes, and I knew it wasnt the type of ride I would go on a continuous bases...

i wouldnt mind seeing it replaced, but that area is limited so what they will replace it with may be worse

I enjoy the ride myself. But even if I didn't, I wouldn't want them to replace it. Mainly for the reason that it wouldn't be Radiator Springs without it! The whole point of the land is for you to feel like you're in the movie.

So unless you have another luigi/tire themed type ride in mind that can fit in that space, it is never ever going to go anywhere.

I wish I could say yes more than once. I went on it for the first time last week and I was really upset that I wasted a half hour in line. I thought the tires were difficult to move and the ride itself was very lackluster.

I think they should bring some balls back. It was definitely more fun. But I still ride it every trip. We always end up laughing cause we look ridiculous leaning every which way and not moving. If you ever want a different experience ride it at night. The over hanging lights and scenery add to the experience.

I know they talked about adding a joystick to control the tire. Did they ever do that? If not, what's the status on that?
