  • [Idea] DCA Lagoon (WOC)

I was at DCA last week n was looking at the Lagoon where they show world of color. Would it be cool if disney could do a day time show like the ones n Tokyo Disney Sea. What Do U guys think?

There is a small day-time show called "Instant Concert...Just Add Water!" that goes on. It's very short, but it's perfect for adding some energy to the space without negatively impacting the surrounding walkways and rides. I don't think it needs anything else, especially since you've also got the Pixar Play Parade and the Phineas and Ferb dance party.

Due to the platform underneath its impossible to do anything near the scale of DisneySea's daytime spectaculars as the barges would not be able to float.

If they wanted to add energy during the day they should find a way to make the wave machines work again.

It's so sad Disney has wave machines, but can't make them work, and has World of Color on a submersible platform, but it can't be submerged.

And you want to know what's really sad?

If they DID have wave machines that worked, they'd probably mess up the platform if it worked. And they wouldn't be able to do both.

But they could have back in the 1960's.

These are my thoughts exactly. Could you imagine would some waves would do the WOC platforms??
