We like hanging out by the fountain, between the French Market, and the Hunted Mansion (benches & trees ... ahhh).

^ This! And it's always the perfect room temperature in there. Kids may drop in with some excited screams from time to time. But then they realize it's not a ride so they quietly run out.

We made our first visit to TSI this weekend and sat at the picnic table on the water facing the dock for Mark Twain/Columbia. The entire time we were there, no one passed us by on the island, and we sat in the sun and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also ate our gumbo on the deck behind Fowlers Inn instead of near New Orleans Square - even though every table was full, it still felt more peaceful!

Seriously, in fact... just walk into the First Aid center, tell them you're hot and tired out and you need to lay down for a few minutes. They are very kind and accommodating.

Where do you like to go to put your feet up and relax for a few minutes, away from it all?

                  TSI?
Take the train around the park?
I'm not going to tell you, because then everyone on MiceChat will go there and it won't be the quietest place any more!!!

I like the garden/patio area by the New Orleans Square railroad station, with the benches surrounding the fountain. Nice and spacious, and a good place to sit a spell and relax!
