  • [Chat] Unofficial Star Wars Day at Disneyland on Sunday...

So...I've been absent from the forums for a month.

Won't go into any detail. Just a lot of personal life events that required my attention but I'm ok. Nothing bad. I didn't get myself banned (lol). I'm trying to be active on here again.

Anyways, I'm part of a special group on FB and someone posted this:

2013 Unofficial Star Wars Day Coming to Disneyland

I know it's like WEEKS old but anyone else familiar with this? I wasn't planning on hitting the park this weekend because I didn't know when I was going to have time or the energy to get up early and handle it.

It'd be a neat thing to do. Doesn't seem as popular as Bats Day, Dapper Day or PRIDE days. Still looks fun.
As of 6/15, Merida is now my favorite Princess...Sorry, Cinderella. Thanks for the memories.

I wouldn't say it's less popular, it just happens in a busier season.

Also people were the same hat and shirts they do on a normal day. They blend in a lot more.

If you have a SW shirt wear it even if you aren't planning to go to the meeting spots, and may the force be with you.

This may be our last year. It's just not that popular, and Disney owns Star Wars sooo.
maybe one more year to say we made it to 10?

I'm not going this year, but I hope it keeps going, even if just a day to go with no formal events. It may be the way to get official Star Wars Weekends at DLR.

I second this notion. I'm still undecided if I'm going Saturday or Sunday but...hell, why not both days? Weekend plans are a little fuzzy right now. If not Saturday, then Sunday for sure.

Well, one of our group members outside of MC found out about the event and posted it. Hopefully some of them will show up. You'll know us by the buttons. Lol
