  • [Question] AL Lutz & Tony Baxter

I couldn't help but notice that Al's departure coincided with Tony Baxter's departure from his lofty imagineering position. I have heard that he is having medical procedures, and wish him the best... just seems very suspicious. I can't help but wonder if Tony was his source, or at least one of his major sources.

    Discuss.

I have heard that yes he was. However, I don't think that has anything to do with Als departure.

Baxter was NEVER a source for Al, outside of whatever comments he made in public. There was a tight lid on Imagineers associated with Baxter and his projects. of curse, that was kind of the standard for WDI anyway.

However, most of the accurate stuff revealed by Al had nothing to do with Baxter related projects anyway. In fact, one piece of misinformation on an Al update concerning a Baxter project, as I recall, was about Obama being added to the Lincoln exhibit in the Opera House.

If you are interested in knowing a bit more about Al's situation, Dusty had an update in the MiceChat podcast he mentions below.

Many of you have wondered about the increasingly elusive Al Lutz. If you missed our last MiceChat podcast (episode #7), we reveal the circumstances regarding his health situation and his deep affection for all of you.
I know the thoughts and prayers so many of you have sent Al's way, have boosted his spirits and are much appreciated.

With no intended disrespect to the OP of the posters in this thread, I think it best that we close this thread.

            Thanks for your understanding.
