  • [Question] Onsite Hotel Package or Room Only and Tickets?

I apologize if this is addressed in another thread but I was unable to locate any discussion(s). If you book a room only stay at the GCH, DH or PPH and then buy tickets separately, do you still get magic morning early entry, or do they limit you? I have booked both ways but not since they have added the early entry to DCA.

Any insight you might have would be greatly appreciated.

I think that if you stay at a Disney hotel you get early entry regardless of where you buy tickets as long as you buy tickets from a legitimate reseller.

All you need for EMH is a room key, so any valid ticket holder (including AP) who's staying at the hotel can enter

It doesn't matter where the tickets came from, your room key and a valid park ticket are required for Magic Morning. The ticket could be any kind of ticket, and they will let you in, as long as it's not an annual pass that's blacked out on a black out day.

A Magic Morning is available once for each 3 days hopper prepurchased before arrival, not at the gates. This entry can be used on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

Extra Magic Hours are available to onsite guests from check in to check out day with any admission and an active room key. This is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at DCA. It's also available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in Disneyland and coincides with Morning Magic.
