  • [Rumor] 13th year, haunting upgrades for holiday mansion

Now I know that for any rumors to be taken seriously on here.. we need proof.. I'm sorry, I have no physical proof but I fully trust my sources and for their sake I won't mention who they are, but I would bet money on it.

Btw only reason why I'm labeling this as a rumor is because I have no proof and someone would have eventually demanded it be labled a rumor... to be its news, great news

****spoiler for those of u that want to be surprised****

Anywho.... so this year is haunted mansion holidays 13th year, and I am told that they are upgradeing some effects and scenes this year.

Gone will be the big ugly jack face in the stretching room and in comes a more dramatic and annimated show scene, from what I'm told, it will br jacks sleigh crashed through the window and jack hanging on a rope with the normal happy holidays greeting.

Also talk of having zero throughout the house.

    New gingerbread house of course

That's the most they were able to tell me.. oh and a special surprise when classic haunted mansion comes back next year.

Like I said, I have no proof but I'm assuming when d23 comes it may be announced. I fully trust my sources

They would surprise me even more if HMH is eliminated and a year round Nightmare Before Christmas ride is created.

I mean sure if this came true it would be cool...but I don't see the current Disney upgrading the ride that much...considering the lines are still triple the normal HM lines
      Happy Halloween!!!

Oh dear God whatever it is, please don't let it be the Looney Tunes CGI Hitchhiking Ghosts they put in WDW's HM. :beg:

Edited to add: Oh hey, this is my 999th post! Coincidence? I think not!

Well there is a Friday the 13th event coming in September. I can see this being connected to it.

It's closed during Dapper Day, set to open the 13th, I believe.

I so wish I could be there this year!! Looking forward to reports when it opens!

The new stretching room sounds cool.

Not to mention this year also marks the 20th anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I think a new, updated overlay for this year is almost expected.

I wonder if the funding came by way of Limited Time Magic.

Sounds interesting. I'll believe it when I see it, though.
