It took me two attempts to master the goat trick. The trick is to follow the goat not just with your eyes or head, but your whole body. You have to kind of turn with it. It makes the turn feel much sharper and gives you a bit of an extra thrill.
I also learned it from MC, and only tried it for the first time maybe a year ago.

The goat trick disrupts your inner ear balance. You trick yourself into being temporarily motion sick. It lasts for the duration of the turn and for a bump or two.

For me, I get a greater sense of speed out of it.

I also find it works best from the back of the train in the left seat.

A little tip; don't try the goat trick if you are prone to motion sickness. Seriously.:yuck:

The goat trick should work fine unless...... they change the seats for the trains. Has anyone heard if they are going to change the vehicles?

They mentioned in the recent video that they were getting "new" trains. Does that mean different sleds? Who knows...

Probably...and likely with individual lap restraints, which could make it more difficult to follow with your whole body. Time will tell...

On the Mark Twain steam boat we always do the "moose trick" as the boat passes the moose.
