  • [Rumor] Marvel Ride coming?

Found an interesting article, you guys might want to check this out:

Marvel and Disney Give More Teases to a "Weird" Theme Park (We Think?) Project - IGN

    Re: Marvel Ride coming?

:shy: It's not an attraction of any sort (because the closest thing Marvel has to something spooky would be like Marvel Zombies). If you look at InsideTheMagic's article, it says that it was filed under "COMICS" with is probably a hint a comic book series based off of something at the parks. Also, if you got the poster, it has an image that looks exactly like the coffin clock from the original Muesum of the Wierd, which could be what it's based off of.
Met Anna and Elsa over 1100 times and not afraid to admit it. Just let it go

Wonder if this could be hinting at a more mature Halloween event for the domestic parks, as we've seen internationally. I recognize the Museum of the Weird coffin clock and devil mirror face. It is Marvel, as well, so perhaps a Museum of the Weird comic is what's being hinted.

I don't claim to know what this is but it definitely has to do with the Museum of the Weird. What I think it is, is a game that uses the technology of Marvels AP (AUGMENTED REALITY) App that can be found in the Apple APP store. Anywhere you see that symbol for the AP you hold your phone up and get a little video that will probably lead you to different locations. My guess is that this game will be played out at Disneyland park and that you will solve clues to get to the next location. Each location providing a small surprise, animation or something neat that kids and adults would enjoy playing. There maybe a comic book type publication that would go along with this that you could play at home and use your AP to get the clues and animations and little movies as well.

        Just my guess.

Sounds like a cool concept! Since the Magic Kingdom has gotten a lot of love with interactive layover games, such as Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and Pirates Adventure, this could be a low key version of the same idea, but in our realm. Disneyland is intimate, and this kind of interactivity could work well on our scale.

It's simply a new Marvel comic based on Rolly Crump's Museum of the Weird concept.

Marvel will be coming to Anaheim, but not in the context most expect.

Marvel is getting more prescence at Disneyland.
Today they are setting up a Phineas & Ferb
              MISSION Marvel
Demonstration at the Downtown Disney Dropoff near ESPN Zone.

This is the Doofenshmirtz Evel Inc. Tower.
Halfway up is the Video screen they were testing.

It's not a Mission Marvel demonstration, it's the Waffle-inator from D23. 4 players shoot waffles at the interactive screen to thwart Doofenshmirtz. I don't think there's anything about Marvel besides the few clips between games and possibly the posters they give participants, as they did at D23.
