  • [Chat] What is the best tour?

I've done almost all there is to do at DL. For our last trip as AP before it runs out my hubby and I were debating about going on a tour. Have any of y'all gone on a tour? If so which is the best and why? We don't have kids so something geared toward more adults is preferred.

I would really suggest "A walk in walts footsteps" its a very cool tour about walts life and you get to ride 3 attractions with no wait time and a visit to club 33 and walts apartment.

I agree, but just to be clear, you get to visit the Club 33 lobby, not Club 33 iteslf. Having done it in March, I would say that part of it was not a big deal, BUT, being able to spend perhaps 15 or 20 minutes in Walt's Apartment? For me, that was worth the full price of the tour all by itself.

Currently shows $109 per person on the Disneyland website, which includes a decent box lunch and a large pin.

There are discounts available. I think we used the Disney Visa for 20% off.

              I am struggling to recall...

I think we rode the DL Railroad, IASW, and Pan. But I could well be mistaken.

From cursory Google searching (information may have changed):

Per Disneyland's website on the tours:

On July 17, 1955, Walt Disney’s dream for a happy place for the young and the young-at-heart was realized when Disneyland Park opened. This theme park is the only one in the world to be designed and built under Walt Disney’s direct supervision.
In 1955, the Park opened with more than 20 attractions. Today, slightly more than half of these attractions are still around.
Step back in time during the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps Tour. Experience 2 of these classic 1955 attractions and connect with Walt’s very personal vision.
                And from Touring Plans...

Isn’t 3 Hours a Long Time to Not Go On Any Rides at Disneyland? – Yes again! Maybe that’s why you do get to enjoy some rides on this tour. Typically you will get to ride Peter Pan’s Flight and it’s a small world and take a trip on the Disneyland Railroad. Anyone who has seen the line at Peter Pan on a busy day knows what a benefit bypassing the line on that one can be!

My mother and I did the Christmas Tour and the Walk in Waltz Footsteps, both are amazing. I would definitely do the Christmas Tour if your AP passes don't expire by then. Best part of this tour was the fresh off the line Marshmallow, having VIP seats for the Parade while getting a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie beforehand and getting off ITASM right as the plaza lights turn on.

Otherwise the Walt one was really nice. You rode Peter Pan's Flight, ITASM and the Train. The lunch came from the Holly Jolly Bakery. The best part of this tour was visiting Walt's apartment.
