  • [Question] Indiana Jones Seat Belt Question

Okay so sometimes while at the loading gates waiting to get onto the jeep, there's a seat that will have the seat belt already clicked in. Does that mean you can't sit there for soem safety reason? Or is it just clicked in just because and you can use it?

I believe it gets clicked when the seat goes empty, so you can unclick it and use that seat.

They'll clearly mark a seat if it's not okay to use, and since I've never seen that on this ride my guess is they would probably pull the entire vehicle for maintenance to fix the issue (just a guess, though!).

ok you that means you general don't go signal rider. When you see a belt clicked in that means that seat was unoccupied during that last cycle. There was nothing wrong with seat you no one sat there last time. They do this so they easily just look and dispatch the car.

On most attractions, the vehicles cannot be dispatched until all seat belts are locked in. Sometimes, the CM has to ask a guest to re-buckle the belt because the signal doesn't register in the console.

On Star Tours, the seats with "broken" seat belts get covered up. The other seats can be used as normal until the problem is fixed.
