  • [Idea] How about a 25-hour party?

I liked the Leap Day party last year but couldn't make it to the Memorial Day celebration. I'm hoping that we get a party on the day we go back to Standard Time, in November. This is the only day that you could go from 6AM to 6AM and have the party last 25 hours. Think of the extra hour the CMs will get overtime for! Imagine the fun of watching the small world clock get turned back one hour at 2AM! They could call it "One More Disney Hour." Also, November is a quiet time at the parks and this would really boost attendance. The only real risk I can see about this is the weather. It can rain like nobody's business in November.

If we can't have it this year, then why not next year?

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

For the 25th Disneyland anniversary, the park was opened for 25 hours. I worked about 18 hours of the party.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

I'm for it since I pooped out at 2:30 AM last May and left before the 24 hours were up (despite, or rather because of, being there since 6 AM). Next time (and after May didn't turn into pandemonium it's better than even money that it will happen again) I'd either pace myself better or show up in the early afternoon and stay all night. Of course even if there's no rain it could be bitter cold during the night.

If we can't have another 60 hour party, 25 works for me.

The more overnight hours the better! I don't know how maintenance can make the turn back on time a park wide thing without a lot of latters and a big tarp over Small world clock tower

November is quiet at the park?
It's been a few years since we've been in the park during November, but it seemed pretty busy.

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

Wouldn't Small World be down for the Holiday overlay on the 1st Sunday in November?
