  • [Question] DL Hotel, what's the cheapest rate you can get

    Hi all,

Just wanting to know what the cheapest rate you can get for DL Hotel for two people? I've never seen anything cheaper than like $350 a night.

Depends what discounts you can get. They have AP discounts, military discounts, AAA discounts.. etc. I would recommend calling them and asking.
Peter Pan: "You know, your hair is on fire."
Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."

It's crazy complicated, but basically it comes down to how full the hotel is when you make your reservation vs. how full Disney expects the hotel to be on that date. So if you can book your reservation far enough in advance (but not too far) and find that magical date where the hotel is not filling up as fast as Disney was expecting, then you might get a really good rate. Most hotels have no top or bottom price, they just charge whatever they think they can get that night based on their historical data. Based on my experience selling Walt Disney World hotels as well as Aulani, booking between 6 months - 3 months out gives you your best shot at finding a lower price. But you do have to be somewhat flexible when you go. Certainly with Disney that means not trying to go when kids are out of school.

So true, looking at my hotel on an average night we have people paying as low as $65 (priceline, hotwire folks) all the way up to $265, we have no fancy suites, so all the rooms are basically the same and looking at the rates people pay is amazing how little some pay, and how much others pay.

Its basically the same as the airlines, nobody pays the same price, but in the end they get the same service.

Thought I read somewhere that Disney discontinued the senior rate? My Mom got it last year during November for 30% off.
