  • [Question] Small World show building question

Does anyone here know where I could find a layout of Its a Small World show building? I have one for the Haunted Mansion that has the ride as it is laid out outside the berm and it was extremely helpful. Now I need the same thing for Small World, one that shows the ride flume and the exits, etc. Thank you!

Yes, I have and, so far, I have found an aerial pic of the show building, but not a rendering that gives exits and what scene is where. It is Disney Park Blueprints for anyone interested in that. Still searching!

I don't have that, but I've wanted to see it for years. If you find it, please post it.

This looks a little off, but this does seem pretty close.

I've sometimes wondered if it were possible to make a map of a ride myself with graph paper and a compass.

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

Looks pretty close. And beyond the walls of the Asia/Africa section is where the machine shop is which has a roll-up door to the outside for air, and where the techs work. Also this is where boat storage is.

Thank you, guys, this is all helpful! Now I just need to figure out where the exits are around the south seas and rainforest area. The Google maps are pretty interesting!

I think this is what your looking for. I thought I had some more plans but I have to locate them and I think most of them are in the Auto CAD format meaning I can not put links for them. Anyways I hope this helps. Disneyland IASW 1989 Blueprint | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

If only Datameister were still active on the forum. I think he'd be pretty helpful with this.

DisneyVal, thank you for the image. It did help very much. I am also going to check with City Hall when we go to DL at the end of the month. The ride itself will be closed, probably holiday overlay, but maybe they can help.

                          Thanks for all your help!
