  • [Question] mickey and friends tram

generally when I come to DLR we stay within walking distance so getting to the park and parking there have never really been an issue.

Thinking of staying at a different hotel this time which while physically close to the park would be a real long walk to the gate.

However it is very close to the Mickey and friends lot. I have never had to park there and wont really need to this time either. I am wondering if it is possible to catch the tram there even if you are not parking there. do they validate parking to get on there or do you pay a fee to ride it?

At the end of the night in the past Weve just taken cabs back to the parks if our feet have had enough. so Im trying to figure out some options.

Anyone can take the tram, you just have to get to the loading zone through the path off Magic way. Where are you staying?

well generally i stay at motel 6. my theory being as long as its safe Im ok with a cheap place since i generally will only be in the room for sleeping. However we were going to stay at the alpine inn thats essentially right behind cars land because my fiance thought it was cute. however now we are looking at the days inn off of disneyland drive that essentially borders the backstage area on one side and the mickey and friends on the other side. with our AP discount it is like a hundred dollars cheaper. thats dinner for 3 people at blue bayou.
