  • [Question] Are all the Halloween decorations gone on Friday, Nov 1st?

We will be in the L.A. area on Tuesday but hotel reservations at Disneyland are not until Sunday Nov 3rd.

If we drive down for the day on Friday, will there be any Halloween decorations still there?

If not maybe we will try for Weds or Thurs.

As far as I'm aware, Halloween offerings are until November 4th.

Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."

From what I know, Big Thunder Ranch and the Halloween Carnival are closing on November 1, so not all of them will be up for the weekend.

The Halloweentime attractions and decorations should be there until Sunday night, but almost all should be gone by Monday morning.

Ghostly Galaxy will be up til Monday the 4th. While I don't expect it to all be gone on the 1st, I would expect it to be coming down quickly.

There's a disconnect somewhere. The official date for the start of the Holiday season is Nov. 12th https://disneyland.disney.go.com/eve...eyland-resort/

However, the calendar shows that Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks, Christmas Fantasy Parade, and Small World Holiday open a week earlier on Nov 8th. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/cal...ult/2013/11/08

If the latter earlier date is correct, expect all Halloween decor to be gone by the 2nd. They would tape the Christmas Day parade, then install the Christmas tree starting the 4th, and open the Holiday season on the 8th.

If the later date is correct, Christmas Day Parade taping would happen the 9th and the tree installed the following week.

From a video i saw of WDW behind the scenes, it takes about 2-4 days to take down everything while putting up Christmas decorations, so i'm just guessing should be there for just a day or two after Halloween.

It's been 3 years since I've been there at Halloween time.....but my recollection was many of the decorations were down (or coming down) on November 1st and by November 2nd virtually all were gone outside of New Orleans sq.
