  • [Question] Is there new rockwork done in the Thunder Mountain refurb?

In the Disney Update today, there's this image of Big Thunder that has an archway that I don't recall ever seeing before. Is this new rock work? It would help explain the length of this refurbishment, considering new tracks and cars were also added to Matterhorn and it was done in less then half the time as this lengthy closure. I'm just trying to figure out how this could be taking as long as it is. Remember when the light fixtures along the refurb fence has the Lone Ranger star on the lantern? Could there have been some minor Lone Ranger overlay that got scrapped after it under-performed at the box office, thus extending the refurbishment time frame indefinitely? Probably not, but just thought I'd throw it out there.
