  • [Question] Transportation - John Wayne to fairfield inn (round trip)

Can't seem to find many recent reviews of transportation options... Any help? 3 of us going in a couple of weeks, 2 adults and a 6 year old. Thanks so much!

We always just take a cab. I don't want to waste a moment waiting on a shuttle or anything else and the cab gets us to our hotel faster than any other conveyance - it can gets us to the park at opening time!
A cab From JW to the hotels on Harbor run about $34 non matter how many people you have.

We took a shuttle to the hotel next to the Fairfield Inn both times. The first time there were 2 of us, walked right onto a shuttle and then straight to the hotel, no wait, $20 pp each way. The next time there were 6 of us, we had to wait about 5 min. for a shuttle and it was $10 pp each way.

I agree with ScottG. I used to take shuttles until I discovered that two people can take a cab for the same price or less. Now I only take cabs. It's so much faster and you're not crammed into a van with other people and all your luggage.

Going to the Fairfield, take anything but the Disneyland Express. Because it is a large bus, it cannot fit down into the hotel parking area. So, you are dropped off and picked up on Harbor. Dropping off isn't so bad, but standing out on Harbor with your luggage and a kid in tow waiting for the bus while cars are flying by is definitely not fun. I personally have never had any major problems with SuperShuttle. It all really depends as to what the other drop offs are in the van as to how quickly you get there.
