  • [Question] Sunkist I Presume donut recipe?

One of my fondest memories of Disneyland from the 70's and 80's was having an orange buttermilk donut from the Sunkist stand after riding the Jungle Cruise in adventureland. Does anybody have a recipe for them? I am not having much luck on the internet or finding some thing comparable at a bakery in my city.

An orange buttermilk donut sounds AMAZING! Anyway, who's to say you couldn't just follow a buttermilk donut recipe and squeeze fresh orange juice into it? Was it glazed? I guess the glaze could be orange. But a non-glazed orange buttermilk cake donut sounds wonderful!
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".

Wish I had that recipe. The baked goods at Sunkist were purchased from a bakery in Garden Grove and from what I understand that bakery is no longer in business. Sadly the persons in charge of the Citrus Houses are no longer with us - otherwise I could ask if they had the recipe still laying around.

This thread has me craving the lemon tarts that were also sold there but sadly cannot have!
