Is anyone going sunday for this?
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

I plan to be at the Sunday Noon meet, and I will check out the Radio promotions...

But it isn't the reason I will be going to the park...

But we know that Arrow 93.1 won't be there (they are changing formats, and will now be Jack....)

I noticed that this morning when I tuned in, expecting to hear Brandmeier, and I got "Jack'd" instead.

I was wondering if it was a total change in format or if they were just dinking around for the day. I like it, though, so I hope they keep it this way!

OK, so they've got a new site up for Jack FM, and it seems that they're looking for feedback.....

Feeling they're on the right course with their Dallas "Jack" (KJKK) eclectic Adult hits format, Infinity Broadcasting yesterday flipped eleven-and-a-half-year Classic Rocker KCBS-FM/Los Angeles to "93.1 Jack-FM - Playing What We Want."

Infinity Sr. VP/Programming Kevin Weatherly, who will continue to oversee "Jack's" direction commented, "Launching Jack FM is a natural evolution for the station following the incredible run of Arrow 93.1. With a massive library of songs and an irreverent attitude, we're going to have a lot of fun and shake up the Los Angeles radio landscape."

"We are thrilled to launch the next great radio station in Los Angeles," added Jeff Federman, Vice President and General Manger of KCBS-FM. "Tremendous variety and less repetition go against traditional wisdom, but it is the key to success with Jack FM and we're confident listeners will embrace the station as they never have before."

Core artists for the format, which will come from a diverse playlist of around 1,200 songs representing four decades, will include The Rolling Stones, Prince, U2, Aerosmith, No Doubt, Tom Petty, Bob Marley, The Cure, Dave Matthews Band and The Police.
