  • [Question] King Arthur's Carousel

So I waited and waited for the refurb to be done and finally got a chance to ride it the other day. It looks beautiful, sparling and shining. But as I walked around in admiring the work, I noticed something and wondered if anyone else has noticed. The horse with the gold tooth is missing. At least I couldn't find it. I'm hoping that maybe I missed it and I will refer back to previous pictures I have taken of it to check for next time but I don't remember seeing it at all. I really hope they didn't paint over it by accident. It was a special horse. Has anyone seen it lately?

I'll check when I go to the park next.

From what I know, though, they actually have a few more horses than can fit on the carousel at any one time, so they do get switched out now and again. It's possible the horse with the gold tooth was just rotated out for now and will be back in the future.

They actually do have quite a few of spares laying around so they can refurb them. It could possibly be out in the rotation.

I hope that's the case, it would be a shame if it was carelessly painted over. I found one of my pics so I can refresh my memory and look again. It's also one of the only ones that have a saddle that comes up in the back so you can actually lean back.
