  • [Question] Mark Twain Fireworks Cruises?

This may be a thing of the past, but does anyone know if the Mark Twain stops mid-voyage during the fireworks so you can watch them from the Rivers of America? This would only occur when the Twain is able to do evening cruises (like she a now since Fantasmic! is down for rehab). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

No it doesn't go around during fireworks.

F! is coming back but then the Twain is going down. Ironic isn't it?

There are very few days a year that F! doesn't show but the Fireworks do, since they are both weekend shows, and busy season shows.

However the Storyland Canal Boats do stop. Ask your captain if you can watch the fireworks and they may try to stop in a more ideal spot.

When Fantasmic is down, allowing for night cruises, they do allow you to watch the fireworks from the boat. Only downside is they don't play the music for the show.

The Mark Twain stops and holds at the dock just a less then one trip around less than the time to fireworks. The gates of the boat are opened and the passengers are told the boat is going to have to hold until the fireworks stop. I have been told by CMs that the Boat travels to close to the Fire line for them to allow a trip. Once the show is over then the boat resumes regular departures.

It holds at the dock BUT when we were there about a week ago they let us get on the boat and go up to the top deck to watch the fireworks. It was an unbelievable view- you can see the fireworks above the castle no problem, but also all the stuff that goes of around main street. We got there about 10 minutes before the fireworks started and had a spectacular viewing spot with no sitting in crowds for hours! If you've seen the show a few dozen times, it's a great new way to experience it (only downside is you can't hear the soundtrack very well.)

I was gonna say they probably don't do it because of Fantasmic, but that's awesome they do it on the days there's no Fantasmic!
