  • Video If you like Mickey playing the Drums in the Soundsational parade...

So the other day I was with my brother at Disneyland, and we caught some of the Soundsational parade. It was the part where Mickey was playing the drums. My brother said he thought it was cool to see Mickey actually playing the drums. I told him yes, it is cool, but he should see the Mickey at Tokyo DisneySea's Big Band Beat Show. I went online to see if video existed, and sure enough, I found a great copy!

As a fellow drummer, I appreciate the talent of whoever is wearing this Mickey suit....err I mean, Mickey. Not only can they play these drums really well, but can dance too!

I don't know if they have something similar or better at Paris or the Cruise Lines, but this Mickey is by far my favorite.

You have to see to believe.

Also, wouldn't it be cool to have this Mickey during the evening swing dancing?

I'm not a drummer... but I wonder how difficult it would be to drum with a costume on?

My thoughts exactly. Because those gloves are thick, and then with a limited visibility inside the mask...

They will never have a show like that at the DLR. Never. Only because that song is not a Disney song.

What about the bands that play at tomorrowland terrace, as well as the swing dancing?

Yeah, it's always awesome seeing Mickey totally dominating in that parade!
Grim, I lost her once; I'm not gonna lose her again.

Those aren't really 'shows' in the sense that they're basically just street entertainment and not big theatrical/musical productions like Mickey's Magical Map and Aladdin.

I agree, we would never get a show like that here because apparently all of ours either have to be a mashup of random Disney movie songs or a production based on one single Disney movie. As always, Japan is made of awesome.
