That was SO awesome!! How did you know where all the locations were? Some were lost on me. Dang you climbed Half Dome? And that part in the desert with the caves reminded me of the movie 127 hours. Such a cool trip!!

That looks awesome, I imagine it took quite a while to get footage from all those locations.

Thanks! I'm not quite sure where they filmed the redwood creek river scene, but we did go to the literal redwood creek river in the redwoods national park. The cave looking scenes were in the anza borrego desert, called slots canyon. It reminded me of 127 hours a lot also.

It was, the trip was around 10 days and each day we filmed around 4 hours.
I pretty much crammed 40 hours into 4 minutes.

I agree , very nice. I believe the skiing scene was shot from Heavenly. Squaw has Alpine Meadows between it and the Lake.

Very cool! I like the Hollywood Bowl clip (I've gone to the John Williams show there a couple of times).

I love John Williams! we were so exhausted we were driving from Malibu to Hollywood but got stuck in traffic. We checked into the Roosevelt hotel, quickly got ready and had to sprint to the concert to make it in time.
