  • [Question] Grizzly River Run: secret place to put your stuff

So I was on grizzly river run a noticed a girl opened her seat after the ride. So when we got up we quickly lifted the seat to find a deep hole and we didn't get a good look but is this a place to put your stuff so it doesn't get wet?
    Has anyone else done that?
It looked deep enough to fit a backpack or two and I know they have lockers but still is this what it's for?

That's awesome. I never realized. If anyone knows for sure, let us know. That'd be pretty handy.

It's not for storage, it's actually very wet under the seats. Water gets in there very easily.

Hmm, I want to trust your information because your name is Grizzly, so you seem like a credible source..

                Can anyone confirm?

Ha! I didn't even think of that. Well, my user name aside, I observed a few times people taking out their damp to soaking belongings out of that underseat compartment.

Hopefully someone can test this out for sure and get back to us.

GRR is usually a ride I avoid because I'm afraid of my tech gadgets getting wet to begin with... phone, camera... I'd hate to stick 'em somewhere they're even MORE likely to get soaked.

... not to mention walking around the parks with wet underwear afterwards.

Where are the free lockers? I'm getting excited with this new information! Putting my stuff in a locker beats holding my backpack with a kung-foo death grip....

To the left of the entrance behind a sign. They are free for two hours and then have an charge, I think $1 per half hour.
