    It's A Small World...

    It's A Small World...

    What is wrong with this Attraction? It can't be the song, Because in The Haunted Mansion and in POTC you here the same song over& over again.

    So why don't people like It's A Small World? It's the Happiest Crusie on earth

      It's so garsh darn sweet it puts people into diabetic comas

      The scenery changes in HM and POTC, but the different sets in IaSW are basically the same ........ kids in ethnic costuming "dancing" and singing that song over and over and over and over ............

              This ride is from the devil himself. When I get of this ride I feel as if I have been badly brain washed. And it's worse when it's Christmas time.

                      Jeez! If you hate it so much then just stay away from it. That's why I stay away from Golden Dreams. Small World is a classic and you all know it. I believe people were upset in the Hong Kong attractions thread to hear that a Small World will not be in Hong Kong (at least on opening day). It is the Happiest Cruise that ever sailed and I love it! I finally got to experience it at Christmas time this Jan. and loved it! I thought it was very well done. I even found the best hidden Mickey in it!

                          lol- I think it is a nice rido to do "once in a while" Have you seen the trailer for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"? It looks like they are making fun of small world and those kids are WAAAYYY creepier than the ones at the park.
                          Some one has a signature (sorry, I forget who about lost children being stapled to the floor. I like that explaination! Maybe that's why it creeps people out!

                              Part of the problem is we live in a world where that much sweetness and happiness has to have something wrong with it. That's just the way people think, there is no child-like innocence anymore that makes a person able to take in IaSW in the samw manner as it did in the 60s. I find that sad. I love it. They really could've found a better holiday song, though. In Spanish, there is no phrase for 'Jingle Bells'-the South and Central American section sounds retarded going 'lalala' the way it does. Give us a phrase!!! Let us do that part in English! Make us multilingual!! I'n begging!!!

                                    I once had the "pleasure" of being stuck on IASW for 30 minutes. It's a little brainwashing. I called it "The Harmony Hut" a la Addams Family Values for years after that.

                                    My 3 year old daughter loves it though. I now enjoy it again watching her.

                                        I went to the park a few years ago with a friend from Amsterdam and when we rode this ride, he was pretty excited because he wanted to check out the Dutch area.
                                        Boy was he dissapointed that the Dutch representatives were ducks. He was looking forward to hearing his native language He still enjoyed it though.
