Swing Dancing was cancelled at the last minute. Not many people were there and only half the band and they were only half set up:

          Nice pics.

The Captain America thing is alright. I guess I expected something different.

Nice first look at the Cap! I know people gripe about the Marvel characters, but I say at least it's a huge draw into Innoventions... an otherwise often skipped attraction. Whether they fit the concept of Tomorrowland or not, doing something with that building is enough for me. (Though the construction for the CA M&G seems a little rushed.)

Looks like crowd levels were at a good point, not too crowded and not a ghost town. Personally, I like Disneyland in the rain.

P.S. Why doesn't the Captain have his shield???????????

He does, it just didn't show in the pics. He is wearing it on his back.

I don't like the coustom for Capt. America doesn't look right to me. I still don't believe Marvel belongs in Disney Marvel is more of a US park then Disney.
To my respect from a Dodger fan.

 THANKS for the excellent photos, Ron!
The rain on the grounds reflects beautifully at night.

Was the Captain America an excellent actor?
He sure didn't look the part to me. Frankly for a Captain America he looked like a wimp, though he was far closer to the character than I am. In an area full of body builders, some of whom are actors, I don't think Disney put much work into casting.

Glad to see more popular CURRENT stuff like Frozen and Captain America. Mediocre old titles like Pocahantus and Aladdin have been overused and need to be retired in the vault.

The Captain America exhibit looks good. Just a question, once you go in do you have to take a picture with the actor? Nothing wrong but its just that I'm more interested in just taking pictures of the suits, shields, props, etc. Same with the Thor exhibit, is it required to take pictures with the actors once you're in the exhibit area?

I'm not much into interaction with the characters, so I don't know. With Thor you went in as a group and they put on a little show, with Cap it's one by one so you would have to interact to see how good an actor he is.

Well, they are not going to have the Hulk hold you down and force you to have your picture taken, you can just leave. The exhibits are, however, mostly in the queue for people in line to look at, so you would have to wait in line to see them and just bail before getting your picture taken.

Yeah, well if that's the case then I'd probably just stay for the picture too then. Wish it was more like the Iron Man exhibit where you can just take pictures of the suits. I get nervous getting my picture taken with characters.
