  • [Question] Downtown Disney Movie Theatre Question

Hey folks.... last time we were down there we arrived a day early to get settled and that night saw the opening of Pirates 4. But it was way too expensive for 4 and my wife ended up falling asleep in the air conditioned room with chairs like pillows.

Anyways... I don't suppose they have a "cheap night" like other theatres? We want to see the new Muppet Movie!

Some Theaters have a senior rate on Tuesdays.

Garden Walk also has a nice theater.

There's a Regal Theater on Chapman and Brookhurst that does 6.00 Sundays. It may be 7.00.

AMC, no. GardenWalk's theater across the street - yes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are $6 for a regular movie (price increases if you use the 21+ theater, etc). I suggest this. The theater is almost always dead, cheap prices and a short walk from Disneyland. Good times.

A lot of theatres have discounts for students and seniors, but in general, if you want to see a movie cheaper in the theatre, go to a matinee (any show before 4pm) and you'll save $2-$3 per ticket, depending on the theatre.
