  • [Fun] What Disney movie deserves (but doesn't have) a ride at the parks?

Hi! So, before today I'd only go on Micechat to look at articles like "In the Parks' and such, and had no idea about the forums. I wanted to post a little question that I always ask every Disney nerd I meet: What Disney movie deserves (but doesn't have) a ride at the parks? I just wanted to try a thread to get to know others and what they think! Personally, I think Hercules could make a cool attraction!
I now own property in Frontierland named "The Backside of Water." Life can't get much better.

Dang, I meant to put this under question, not fun. Sorry! Still answer if you'd like!

Mary Poppins would make a really cool ride!

I have a couple favorite ideas that I would love to see (Ariel used to be on the list for a LONG time, until she finally got her own attraction.)

Glad to see you selected Hercules, too! That is on my top two list, also! I would love a Peter Pan style attraction, with beefed up special effects/aa's. You would start off by bording your own "Pegas", that would take you from the heights of Mt Olympus, to the depths of Hades underworld, complete with Hades shooting fireballs at you!

The other attraction I would really like to see is one themed to 101 Dalmatians! It would be designed very similar to the same style that is found in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. In this case you would be driving Cruella' car (a Panther DeVille) Chasing after the puppies, through the DeVil mansion, through the Barn, through the cold and snow, seeing the puppies diguise themselves at black labs, Running a Car - that is being driven by Cruella, off into a ditch, and arriving back home with all the puppies, pongo, and perdita, Roger and Anita, and Nanny.

Oh, yes, there is a THIRD movie that I would love to see with it's own attraction, because is has some of the best songs of any Disney Movie, and because it has such Great Characters! The Jungle Book. It would be a journey a small boat, as you see the wolf pack that raised Mowgli, Running into the Col Hathi and Jr, Baloo and Mowgli relaxing on the river, monkey's taking away Mowgle, King Louie and seeing his temple area falling apart, running into the Vulture, and Mowgli following the girl into the Man village.

The lion king and jungle book. No idea how. Would love to see it on Tom Sawyer island. I know they would have to close early because of fantasmic.

Wow, completely forgot about this one somehow, I'd love to see a Tron ride in Tomorrowland. Would definitely be a nice break from Star Wars and Marvel should they add more or just as a nice complement to Star Tours and Innovengers currently

Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride! Make it suspended like Peter Pan's Flight. You launch out of the palace's balcony and over the town and through the desert night to the song 'A Whole New World.'

                    Cinderella

Beauty and the Beast. Big E-ticket. Build the structure they have at WDW, fill it with animatronics, and run an omnimover through it.

The Rescuer's. Love that movie and the swamp setting.

Ever since a year ago, at hope I've been planning a Lion King Land for DAK, instead of Pandora. Something like dark rides and Wildebeast run roller coaster!

Steamboat Willie! It would be nice as a dark water ride in a reimagined Toon Town.

Beuaty and the Beast needs a Dark Ride and so does Lion King because these have potential for amazing Dark Rides
