  • What Disney movie deserves (but doesn't have) a ride at the parks?

Hi! So, before today I'd only go on Micechat to look at articles like "In the Parks' and such, and had no idea about the forums. I wanted to post a little question that I always ask every Disney nerd I meet: What Disney movie deserves (but doesn't have) a ride at the parks? I just wanted to try a thread to get to know others and what they think! Personally, I think Hercules could make a cool attraction!

If I had to pick one I'd say Mary Poppins.

I'd love to see an Aladdin ride, a Jungle Book one, and definitely a TRON one.

I wholly agree with this one. The entrance/queue area could be shaped in the form of the Tiger's mouth entrance to the Cave of Wonders, with steps/ramp down to the ride, which would be flying carpets. The ride could then enter the Cave of Wonders as portrayed in "Aladdin", and be gentle up until Abu touches the jewels. It could then turn into a quasi-coaster ride, mimicking Aladdin's own escape from the cave. The second half of the ride would then be a quick flight over the desert to the oasis, then straight to the palace, floating in the air to do battle with Jafar. Upon defeating Jafar, the last part saunters above different lands (as it did in the movie during the "Whole New World" segment), finally landing back at the entrance to the ride.

101 Dalmatians would be a cool ride.

Peter Pan is a fictional character. There is no real voice. )

I think they have enough dark rides in the park. But for the rides they do have, it would be cool if they updated them like the Seven Dwarfs on the new mine coaster. The characters come to life when their faces are animated. They really need to update that Peter Pan ride. When I went on it recently it looked so cheap. I thought the scene over London, they had a real city with real lights. At least I thought it was when I was a kid. It looked so fake. I also didn't like that they didn't use the real Peter Pan voice.
