  • [Question] Craziness for Anna and Elsa at the Rope Drop?

    Hello Micechatters!

I was wondering, what exactly should I be expecting with people running to the Frozen Meet-N-Greet at the rope drop? I recently saw that they moved Anna and Elsa's start time, to park opening, does this mean that everybody and their dog books it for Anna and Elsa? With that, does anyone have any advice? Such as should I go on a magic morning, etc?

Any insight on the best way to meet them, weather it be to partake in the craziness, or wait a little while after the mob gets there?

    Thank you my fellow DisNerds!

Does this mean that Peter Pan now has a shorter line?

Haha, you can hop on Peter Pan for a shorter line in the morning. However, Anna and Elsa is a different story. When I went yesterday (Sunday) I looked at the line about 20 min. after the park opened and a CM said it was already 2 to 3 hours long. Frozen is very popular. You can either skip meeting them for a few more months, (I predict that the lines will be shorter around September, after summer's over and the hype of the movie is down) get there an hour before the park opens, or just tough out the line. You can even have a friend or relative switch places in line with you so one person isn't standing there for three hours.
One more thing: If you aren't desperate to meet Anna and Elsa, but would still like to see them, you can hang out at the Village Haus and watch them come in and out backstage, and maybe snap a few photos of them. They won't stop to pose, but it's still nice to see them pass. They go about every half hour to 45 min.
I'll rise like the break of dawn.

They don't come out or in from the Village Haus anymore the last time I was there I never saw them come or go they come and go some where inside the restaunt now I haven't stay in the restaunt to see but that is about the only place I can see them come and go now that they don't exit or enter from the Haus.

We went about a month ago, during spring break actually. It was a Sunday too. We went over there at park opening, but didn't run. We got there maybe 10 to 20 minutes after park opening. The CM said the line was 45 minutes long, but it actually took 30 minutes.

Now, they opened up the meet and great at park opening, but at that time, it was advertised as starting at 9:00. So they started it earlier than scheduled.

If you are going to meet them, I would try to get there as soon as you can after rope drop. Otherwise, plan to wait a bit.

The most I'd ever wait to get a picture with any character is 10 mins. A three to four hour wait is insane! There are some dedicated parents out there which I give props to. However, I did get to meet Anna when I was dressed as Kristoff for dapper day. We were walking by and I guess a CM told her Kristoff was outside and she ran out to see me. Pretty cool little "magical moment" there.

Yeah they go inside the restaurant now. That's what I meant by Village Haus. (Isn't that what the restaurant's called?)

I heard there was a FP for the Frozen meet & greet. Is that true?

WDW has FP+ reservations for the Anna & Elsa Meet-and-Greet. Disneyland doesn't offer FP for it unfortunately.

No way my kids are gonna let me bypass the Frozen M&G.
I want to meet them too but man that's crazy.

Yeah it's call that but send I can't say the name I just call it Pinocchio's restaunt. Like with Jolly Hoilday I can say that but I like to call it Mary Poppins and the Little Green Men shop I call that Buzz Lightyear store.

If you do get in line before they close it around 2:15 which they close the line by then so they can get everyone out by 5. I do hope they change the closing time by 7 for the summer time.
