  • [Fun] If you could only visit one land from here on out...

If your future Disneyland experiences were limited to only one land, which land would you choose?

Think about attractions, shows, food, overall ambience.

After careful consideration, I think I'd pick Frontierland. I love Big Thunder, Tom Sawyer's Island is a nice, relaxing place to walk around, the Mark Twain allows for a nice leisurely view, canoes are available if I want some exercise and The Golden Horseshoe offers a cool place to get out of the sun. Now, Frontierland is not the first place I head on a normal visit to the park, but if I could only choose one land for the rest of my visits, that's what I'd choose. How about you?

If I could only pick ONE land, I'd pick DISNEY land.

Oooh! Well played, well played indeed!

But... If I am playing by the "rules"...

I would choose Adventureland (this is including NOS). Not only does it have my most F.A.V.O.R.I.T.E rides (Indy, Jungle, Pirates, HM), it also has Bengal Barbeque and my favorite places to shop (Bazaar, etc). The theme is perfect, and the area is gorgeous. Plus, the area gets tons of shade for when it's hot out.

I'd go with just NOS, I think that counts as two.

The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

This is a tough one, but I would have to say New Orleans Square.

This is a very tough one indeed... I think for rides the obvious choice is New Orleans Square because it has both Pirates and Haunted Mansion. I mean, if you can only ride two rides every time you go to the park those are definitely two you could never get tired of riding. HOWEVER... after thinking about it more, while I would desperately miss Pirates and Haunted Mansion, I think Frontierland really is the best choice overall if you have to limit yourself to only one land forever. Like was said before, you have BTMR to ride, as well as the Canoes, Mark Twain, as well as the Sailing Ship Columbia, the Shooting Gallery, Big Thunder Ranch, the Pin Trading store (if you're into that sorta thing), and a couple nice shops to browse. In addition to these, you could still be able to sit and watch Fantasmic! from Frontierland, and also Frontierland really does have the most food selection out there: Big Thunder BBQ and The Golden Horseshoe both provide nice sit down eating with good atmospheres and live performances, you also have The River Belle and Rancho del Zocalo, plus the walk up Stagecoach Diner, there's a healthy snacks stand by the entrance to the ships, there's a turkey leg stand, a pretzel stand, and a popcorn stand too!
Words any Disney fan and especially Disney employee should live by:

"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money."
                -Walt Disney

"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."
                -Walt Disney

"I do not like to repeat successes, I like to go on to other things."
                -Walt Disney

"We did it, Disneyland, in the knowledge that most of the people I talked to thought it would be a financial disaster - closed and forgotten within the first year."
                -Walt Disney

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
                -Walt Disney

"I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."

I'd pick Fantasyland. It has the most stuff to do and I'm a sucker for dark rides.

I was going to say NOS but then I'd have to choose between that and FantasyLand. I can't bring myself to do that....

I'm certainly glad this is only a "what if" thread on Micechat and not anything real!

I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO ALL DIFFERENT LANDS WHENEVER I WANT TO!

I've considered this same hypothetical question many times. And my answer has always been: New Orleans Square.

As much as I love NOS due to Haunted Mansion and Pirates, I think Fantasyland offers the most variety. There are some thrills to be had on Matterhorn(which, I might add, has two different tracks so it's almost like two different rides), and plenty of dark rides, as well as relaxing rides like Storybookland or Casey Jr.

For DCA, I would have to go with Hollywoodland. Tower of Terror, Animation Academy, Monsters Inc AND Aladdin all in one land? I'd be content.
And heed this warning: The spirits will materialize only if you remain quietly seated at all times and stop taking flash pictures, you moron.

New Orleans Square because the atmosphere is done the best imho.

I actually might pick Frontierland, since I think there would be more to explore.
