  • Is this possible?

It's the first Sunday in October and I check into the DLH around 3 and head over to California Adventure. Now, tell me, is it possible to get the "preferred seating" for Alladin or am SOL? Also, does the Electric Light Parade run on Sundays in October? If so, can you see the last showing of Alladadin and still catch the parade? Thanks.

I don't think there is preferred seating for Aladin, but I could be wrong. Last time I was pretty much in the front row- it is first come, first served I believe.

For the 3-day pass there is a mention of preferred seating, but I understand you actually have to pick up a pass, sort of like Fastpass. Is that correct?

Yes you can have preferred seating, unfortunately when I finally decided to use it I was too late, and all the prefered seating was taken. Oh and yes, they give you a little flyer stating that you can have prefered seating.

I have the schedule from the 2nd weekend of last year.

Aladdin was showing at 4:40 and 6:10. Shouldn't be ANY problem making either of those times if you're in the park by 3:00.

As for MSEP, I answered that in your last thread.

Thanks! I thought Sundays were busy all year round, so was worried about crowds.

Sunday is more busy than mon-thur, but not nearly as busy as Saturday.
