You have to look at it two ways. Disneyland will always be the original and it has that "historic" feel to it. It has all the small things, like how Walt used to walk the park every morning.
Disneyworld on the other hand is bigger and has more attractions. When I went there, I didn't have that historic feeling. I just felt like it was a theme park.
But I voted Disneyland just because I live in LA.

Gemini has a better, more specific thread going. To just say "Which is better" is like comparing apples to oranges. Or maybe Valencia Oranges to Blood Oranges, since they are in the same family... Which is "superior" is simply a matter of taste...Honor those who fall under the sword.
But pity the warrior who has slain all his enemies.

I have been to WDW more often. Mom took us the year it first opened and I have been back a few times starting with the 25th anniversary. Since I can go to WDW more often, I guess it would be my favorite by defalt. However, DL is a superior park. Part of it has to due with the historical fact that it is the park that Walt built. But most of it has to do with the fact that it has a much more intimate feel to it and I prefer the rides more, especially those not found at WDW.
