  • SNA Airport Shuttle Association Thoughts?

For the hotels I am considering for a potential DLR trip in November, this service seems to offer great prices (at least in comparison to a taxi). Has anyone on here tried this service, and if so, what did you think of it? How were the drivers, how long did you have to wait, and were there any hidden charges that I should account for in budgeting? Thank you all so much.

I use them every time I go, and I always fly into SNA. Depends on how many are in your group. For a group of 6 we paid something like $10/pp and for 2 people I think it was a little more. It is customary to tip $10-15 as well, depending on how many people/bags you have. There's several shuttles so make sure you shop around a little. (The tip is total, not per person).

Thanks! The trip is most likely just for two, so it would be $40 round trip if we fly into John Wayne (which I hope we do).

I will have to try them I have been flying in every few weeks and during the summertime when the rental cars are very expensive I have been using the Supershuttle service, 11.00 each way, but I am always looking for a better service.

Taxi.......a servant to your schedule (unlike the shuttles in which you are at their mercy); goes directly to your chosen hotel and they're closer to the air terminal than the shuttles too

I've never walked further than 75 feet from the baggage claim door to the shuttle door so I'm not sure "closer" is much of a selling point when you factor in that it's only a distance of 10-20 fee closer.

So what would a taxi cost from SNA to BW Plus Park Place vs a shuttle when there are only 2 people travelling together?

About $83 round trip (from SNA, LGB and LAX are even more expensive at $102 and $193). The shuttles I've found are much less expensive (Airport Shuttle Association, SuperShuttle, Best Shuttle Transportation, PrimeTime Shuttle, and the Disneyland Resort Express Bus).
