    Space Mtn. update march 19th

Space Mtn. looks amazing!!!!! Space Station 77 (load area and queue) looks very much the same with a few new neon blue lights and load gates. The colors are much more future like blue and white, not bad 70's Dr. waiting room color. The rockets looks very much the same (more sliver) not like the ones for HK. The sound system look very much like Rn'Rc like (lots of speakers). It is going to be amazing to be able to get on this again in a few months!!!

Nothing fishy about it. Lets just say my friend might be a cast member and all cast members can see cast tv on there computer....lets just say that he did that.

I'm a CM and I saw it. Jerm gave a good description of what we were able to see. Except, I don't think the rockets look like the old rockets at all.. Maybe the exterior. But the interior seats are definitely different. And I don't think this really spoils anything, but they've figured out a way to load guests with disabilities in a way that won't be rushed. They're going to load them on a separate platform where the rockets can be slided over to the side so that all other rockets can move past on the main track. Kinda like how the Mattehorn bobsleds can move over to the side on the loading area. I think it's a GREAT idea and definitely eases the stress on the Space Mountain CMs.

I hope I can fit in the updated SM. My legs are long and before I could just barely squeek my knees under the lap bar. I always felt a bit of pressure getting on and getting off the ride, freaky.

Anyone else have long legs and have/had issues with this ride?

I always have issues with my long legs, but manage to squeeze in no matter what.

So the trains aren't looking like Screamin's and the load/unload platform is still a single piece of track that doesn't seperate like Screamin's?

The load/unload platform is just like old times -- it is NOT like Screamin'. At least that's what I could tell from the video. And the rockets don't look like Screamin' trains to me...

I finally found this on the Cast Portal! Boy they didn't really show us much did they? My aplogies to Jerm for being skeptical, and my appreciation too because he pointed me in the right direction. It just seems so may people who come on here lie about everything. Makes me crazy.... but that's for another thread I guess. Someone wanna start a "Lying B*st*rds" thread?

Well if I could post attachments here I would post the closeup pics of HKDL's Space Mountain cars that were on RCDB for a short time. Why can't we post attachments anywhere? Oh, wait... my avatar...

our Space Mountain will not have a LIM launch.

Our interior seats will look like the HKDL ones, but I don't remember them being purple... the outer shell doesn't look the same.
