Definently the top ones for me are the chlorinated water on splash and pirates and the the musty smell in the pirate caves as well. Also, the smell of the Indy Queue in the morning (after it's been washed down with what I think is chlorinated water), and the smell of the smoke/fog machines inside the actual ride. I think they must pump chlorine into everything at Disneyland...
i MUST agree with pirates and splash. whenever i step into the building for pirates and smell that water.. i know i'm home again of course whenever i tell my friends (who usually don't go to disneyland) how much i love the smell of the water, they look at me very weirdly.

Ah yes... the distinct smell of Pirate Water. Chanel should bottle and sell it. It could be one of their Eau de Toilette fragrances. Delicious. I'd wear it.
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here! It's wondrous! With treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross, but it's not for the timid."
We're going to go through all five senses, are we? Hmmmm...yes chlorinated water is way up there. Although not my favorite, the methane or whatever it is they use for the train certainly says Disneyland.
And this is going to sound really wierd, but here goes:
As much as I hate it, there is one brand, maybe Winston, that I remember smelling TONS of at Disneyland in the 60's. To this day, when I smell it anywhere, I think of Disneyland.
And more recently, I take my time walking past the Blue Ribbon Bakery in the morning.
Pirate water is my favorite...funny thing is, here in Irvine they use recycled water (or so I'm told) and it is heavily chlorinated. I remember waking up in the dorms in the morning (and sometimes in my apartment), smelling Pirates!
